HOW MUCH YOU CAN CLAIM
The government Workplace Charging Scheme helps cover the costs of both the EV charging infrastructure and the chargepoints themselves for commercial properties. Businesses, charities, and public sector organisations can claim up to £350 per socket to help with the purchase and installation of each chargepoint.
The total funding cannot exceed 75% of the overall installation costs, with a maximum grant amount of £30,000 per applicant. This makes it more affordable to provide reliable EV charging for staff, visitors, or fleet vehicles at offices, warehouses, and other commercial sites.
