The EV infrastructure grant can help cover the costs of installing the necessary infrastructure to operate current and future charge points. Eligible applicants could receive £500 towards each infrastructure installation and an additional £350 towards each charge point purchased.

HOW MUCH YOU CAN CLAIM
The government infrastructure grant helps cover the costs of both the charging infrastructure and the EV chargepoints installed at the same time.
For infrastructure: Landlords can claim up to £500 for each parking space equipped to support a chargepoint, including future connection locations.
For chargepoints: Up to £350 is available towards the cost of purchasing and installing each individual chargepoint.
The total funding cannot exceed 75% of the overall installation costs, with a maximum grant amount of £30,000 per application. This support makes it more affordable to install EV charging points for residents and tenants.
