GOVERNMENT GRANT FOR RESIDENTIAL EV CHARGING
The government continues to support the installation of electric vehicle (EV) ChargePoint’s across residential and commercial properties, with updated grant amounts and extended deadlines.
WHO IS ELIGIBLE & HOW MUCH YOU CAN CLAIM
From 1st April, the following applicants are eligible to receive £500 per ChargePoint towards the cost of purchasing and installing an EV ChargePoint. These grants are available per ChargePoint and have been extended until 31st March 2027:
Renters and flat owners Eligible for £500 towards installing a ChargePoint at their property (per ChargePoint).
Households with on-street parking Eligible for up to £500 towards the cost of a ChargePoint (per ChargePoint).
Residential landlords Eligible for £500 per ChargePoint installed at their rental properties.
Business workplaces and landlords Including businesses, charities, and public sector organisations are eligible for £500 per ChargePoint installed at their properties.
Grant funding subject to eligibility and approval via the official UK government website.
